Cultivation & Drying Practices
Quality & integrity are our guiding principles.
We start by feeding minerals and organic matter to our soils to provide the plants with the proper nutrients. All of the harvesting is done by hand at the peak of potency with pure healing intent. Herbs are then dried immediately in our wood-fired drying sheds where light, humidity and temperature levels are carefully monitored to ensure maximum constituent levels. From there, the herbs are minimally processed and packaged by hand. The finished product is of the highest quality available.
Dried & Fresh Bulk Herbs
Herbs can be purchased in either dried or fresh quantities. The prices listed below are for 1 lb. amounts of dried herb (except where noted). Freshly harvested, chill- packed herbs are available but require a phone consultation. Please call for availability and prices (802)-888-7278.
Also, please note that because we harvest when the plants are at their most potent, some herbs may be ordered early in the season but will not be shipped out until later in the summer or fall. We are a small family farm and therefore, do not warehouse large quantities of herbs. Although we strive to meet all our customers' needs, due to increased popularity, we often sell out of herbs quickly. We will make every attempt to reserve herbs at a customer's request and encourage everyone to order early!
